Kyle Bragg
President
Kyle Bragg became president of 32BJ in July of 2019, after the sudden death of Hector Figueroa, and was unanimously approved by the union’s executive board on July 24, 2019. Kyle was re-elected president of 32BJ in September of 2021. Under Kyle’s leadership, 32BJ successfully negotiated the 2019 commercial contract which raised standards and wages for tens of thousands of workers in New York and more beyond.
Manny Pastreich
Secretary Treasurer
Manny Pastreich has 30 years’ experience on bargaining representation and organizing campaigns. As Secretary Treasurer, he will continue to drive campaigns to win the best possible contracts in the property service industry. He currently serves as a Taft-Hartley Benefit Fund trustee covering several pension, health benefit, training and legal funds.
John Santos
Assistant to the President
John Santos was elected as Assistant to the President at 32BJ in September 2021. In his current position, he also serves as New York Metro Director. Previously, John served as Vice President, and New York Metro District Residential Division Director. He led more than 35,000 residential building workers across New York’s five boroughs in their political work, worker organizing, and member representation programs.
Shirley Aldebol
Executive Vice President
Shirley Aldebol, is assistant to the President on leadership and staff development. She oversees the Hudson Valley district and the NYM public schools division.
Kevin Brown
Executive Vice President
Kevin has been involved in the trade union movement since 1987, when he started working for SEIU as an organizer. He oversees the New Jersey district.
Jaime Contreras
Executive Vice President
Jaime Contreras heads 32BJ’s Capital Area District, which has over 20,000 members in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area and Baltimore, Maryland, and oversees the Florida district.
Robert Hill
Executive Vice President
Rob joined 32BJ in June 2000 as lead organizer and was appointed as Director in fall 2005. Rob is currently the head of the Airports Division for 32BJ SEIU, sits on the SEIU Executive Board, and oversees the National Airports Organizing Campaign.
Denis Johnston
Executive Vice President
Denis has been a leader in the New York Metro Commercial and Security Divisions since 2005. Johnston’s maternal grandmother—Mary Bajowski, a Polish immigrant—was a 32BJ cleaner in lower Manhattan from the 1950s to the 1970s.
Gabe Morgan
Executive Vice President
Gabe Morgan is Vice President and 32BJ PA/DE State Director, which includes 21,000 workers throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware and the Mid-Atlantic, 1201 and Western Pennsylvania Districts.
Roxana Rivera
Executive Vice President
Roxana Rivera has been organizing low-wage workers for nearly 25 years, fighting for workers’ rights and justice for immigrants. She is in charge of the New England region (615 and CT).
Margarita Alonzo
Vice President
Margarita is Vice President of 32BJ SEIU. Since her first organizing campaign, Margarita has helped organize security officers and airport workers up and down the East Coast.
Dean Devita
Vice President
Dean Devita, President of 32BJ National Conference of Firemen and Oilers District. Dean previously served as Secretary-Treasurer from 2011 – 2020.
Israel Melendez
Vice President
Israel started with 32BJ as a member in the NYM Security Division as a Shop Steward, after which he was hired by the union. Israel now serves as the Director of the NYM Security Division.
Rochelle Palache
Vice President
Rochelle Palache is Vice President of 32BJ SEIU. She joined the union after 10 years of political activism and union organizing. She is the district director for Connecticut.
Kevin Stavris

Kevin Stavris is 32BJ Vice President and New York Metro District Residential Division Director, which includes over 35,000 members.
